Influential Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones is set to release a reggae banger.
As weird as this sounds, fans are excited, wondering how he would deliver on a reggae song bearing in mind this is not his kind of music.
A few days ago, a tweep by the name Charles Wahinya requested Khaligraph to name the number of retweets it would take for him to release a reggae song.
He went ahead and asked for two thousand retweets, only three days later the tweet went overboard and now boasts 3,4000 retweets.
Taking to Instagram, papa jones agreed to his earlier bet by one of his fans posting a screenshot of his dare with a caption:
“Reggae song Coming soon, The OG shall be Respected,” he wrote.
Over the past few weeks, celebrities have been challenged to try out with various challenges and Khaligraph was not any different. Call it a PR stand but it is what it is.
Twitter has now become the quickest way to build brand challenging many artists to grow their audience as well.
