Abducted Kid From Kisumu Found

Kidnapped boy from Kisumu has been found alive.

The family of Aqif Malik can now heave a sigh of relief after their son was discovered in Nyandiwa area, Homa Bay County.

Media reports disclose that the police have arrested one suspect linked to the crime.

The criminal who is a woman, has been taken to Magunga Police Station.

The 7 year-old was reported missing on Sunday after he was seen talking to two men outside their home Ke Re estate.

Additional information pointed out that Aqif told his friends the men had promised to buy him sweets.

Eyewitnesses narrated that before the incident, the criminals were seen hanging around the estate surveilling the house and the Maa Junior School pupil.

Citizen TV who first aired the matter, reiterated that the men stopped coming to the area after Aqif vanished.

The parents, Rashid Malik and Ruhina Malik, got concerned when they could not find their son and reported the case at Kondele Police Station.

A friend of the boy of Indian origin, when questioned, highlighted that he saw the boy in a car with a woman inside.

A further inquiry into the case revealed that a Toyota Vitz, was the car used to abducted the young child.

The incident took a twist, when the management of the estate, changed all the guards at the premises, a day after Akil went missing.
