Kenyans Boycott Other Stations For New Citizen TV Local Programme

  The New TV series ‘Maria’

Popular Kenyan TV station, Citizen TV has been the talk of social media since Monday, October 14 due to an ‘upgrade’.

Kenyans couldn’t hide their joy and excitement after the station aired a one kind of a show.

The series, ‘Maria’, starring Briget Shighadi has given other stations a run for their money. Maria will be showing on Monday- Friday, and this has scared their competitors.

This local TV series features Maria as a humble, uneducated, teenage dreamer. She lives with her godmother, Auntie Naomi, in one of the slums in Nairobi.
