The Leicester City striker has been a reliable FPL performer in recent home matches. Vardy scored twice and supplied an assist in a 3-1 win against AFC Bournemouth in Gameweek 4, earning 16 points.

He also collected 12 points in the Foxes’ 5-0 victory over Newcastle United courtesy of another brace. Those big hauls highlight his potential as a captain contender for the visit of Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

When selected, he has scored or assisted 50 percent of Leicester’s home goals. Maddison, meanwhile, has been involved in 20 percent of their home goals. The underlying numbers show why Vardy has been such a key figure for Brendan Rodgers’ men.

At home, his totals of eight shots inside the penalty area and six shots on target are at least double any team-mate. He will look to take advantage of a Clarets defense that are without a clean sheet on their travels.

Manuel Lanzini

The Westham midfielder has been a standout creator on away travels this season. Lanzini supplied two assists in his first two away matches against Brighton and Watford.

The underlying statistics highlight his creative potential, particularly when the Hammers are on their travels. He has supplied a scoring chance every 22 minutes away from home, compared with an average of 62 minutes in home matches.

Meanwhile, Everton have lost five of their last six matches in the League. Lanzini could inflict more damage on Marco Silva and his side.

Calum Hudson Odoi

The winger’s instant impact upon returning from injury offers FPL managers a cut-price route into the Chelsea attack.

Hudson-Odoi has produced attacking returns in each of his four appearances across all competitions under Frank Lampard.

He scored against Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup in his first match back and followed that up with back-to-back assists in substitute appearances versus Brighton & Hove Albion, in Gameweek 7, and Lille in the UEFA Champions League.

He then marked his first Premier League start of 2019/20 with an assist for Tammy Abraham’s (£7.7m) opener in the Blues’ 4-1 win over Southampton in Gameweek 8. Worth having a gamble on.
