Eliud Kipchoge made history on October 12 then sneaked back in the country in the wee hours of Wednesday like an ordinary man. Probably, and by his humble nature, he never wanted to be accorded some heroic welcome.
Kenya Airways, however, could not stand the happiness that comes with flying such a great man, so they took to social media to announce Kipchoge’s arrival.
“Honoured to fly our CHAMPION Eliud Kipchoge home from Amsterdam. The Pride is so proud of you!” they tweeted.
And Kenyans pounced on the national aviation firm for its alleged recent wrongdoings.
Don’t steal his luggage fam.

What happened to the private jet? Or it wasn’t a return ticket thing? Or maybe it’s Eliud who chose not to return via it.
