Pregnancy 101: Signs and Myths That You Might Be Carrying Twins

In modern Kenyan society, twin pregnancies have often detectable during the first prenatal appointment, you may even have been prompted early on by a dream, passing comment, or premonition.

There are several signs and symptoms of a twin pregnancy that could serve as helpful clues.

1.Gaining More Weight:

Excess weight gain is a common sign of a lady carrying twins and that is a normal thing to put on more weight than a woman who is carrying a single child. The amount of babies is created is twice.

It is always said that when you are pregnant with twins you tend to eat a little bit more. some mamas with a twin pregnancy notice an especially strong aversion to certain foods. 3.Overrated Morning Sickness:

Ladies carrying twins are always throwing up extensively in the morning. Some may not feel anything at all. Every mom and pregnancy is very very different.

5.  Acute Iron Deficiency

Lack of enough iron reduces the extra pressure put on blood supply during a twin pregnancy. This can cause  fatigue, shortness of breath, noticeable heartbeats, dizziness, headaches, and a pale complexion, so it’s important to make sure you’re including enough iron in your diet

6.Extreme Tiredness: 

Carrying twins can cause overwhelming fatigue. Plus, the first trimester is the most critical for developing the baby’s foundational body systems.

7.Nausea:

These twin pregnancies result in increased nausea and, many mums-to-be who are expecting twins report increased and more severe nausea than those carrying one baby.
