Don’t Call Me If You Don’t Have Sh1m – Akothee On How Much She Charges Per Show

Coastal based musician Akothee has left many tongues wagging after revealing the huge amount of money she’s paid for a show.

Akothee who has stretched her standards said that she does not waste time going for less paying shows.

Speaking during an interview, Akothee revealed that she can’t accept anything less than Ksh 0ne million for stage performance plus two hundred thousand for logistics.

“My performance fee is ten dollars minus logistics, if you don’t that don’t call me or my manager coz I will not come,” she revealed.

“Mimi pesa zangu zinalipwa kuanzia kwa logistics,gari yangu mimi nitakuja kivyangu, mimi promoter haninunulii chakula, mambo ya promoters kuweka wasani njaa kwa stage sitaki”.

Defending her performing fee, the self-proclaimed president said that Kenyan promoters can afford to pay international artists millions but pay local artists peanuts.

Adding that Kenyan artists should also raise their performing standards because they are talented brands.

“My standards are not high, Kenya promoters can afford to pay Davido one million, the problem I have with Kenya promoters is that they underrate Kenyan musicians and it’s also high time Kenyan musicians to raise their standards “

Akothee who calls her self the black partner of African revealed that the least amount she has ever been paid to perform was four hundred thousand.

“Kidogo imelipwa ni  four hundred thousand na  nikidogo sana, saa 400k nitafanyia nini na band peke yake nalipa 300k band alone without dancers,” she revealed.

It is alleged that madam boss is one of the richest artistes in Kenya judging by the flashy possessions she has been flaunting on her social media pages.

So for she has been appointed as a brand ambassador for seven different brands.

It was then rumoured that the Mombasa-based singer paid Diamond Sh1.7 million and Flavor Sh6 million to record the two hot collabos, to buy her lifeline, Akothee scoffs, snaps and stuns; “The best is yet to come”.

“I am loaded, yes, I have cash, but if it was about money then even the worst singer could easily pay to have a collabo with the biggest stars in the world. They can talk…Let them talk,”.
