The sensational group Ethic has finally gotten a break from all the bad press after receiving an award from Youtube for their outstanding performance.
The group got awarded the coveted Silver play button from Youtube after surpassing 100,000 subscribers.
The move comes after their hit song ‘Figa’ got pulled down because the beats were copied from a Dutch song title ‘Cono’ by rapper Jhorrmountain.

Also, they are currently in trouble after stealing footage for their latest music video ‘Thao’ from Kenyan Video director DeGigz Film.
The music video was taken down from Youtube on Sunday 13th October evening. No one expected the most hyped song would become a great disappointment to the fans. The two groups haven’t issued a statement on the video yet despite the flagging.
Despite the loss, the young rappers are determined to keep going. No matter what anyone has to say, these young cats who started from nothing have slowly made their mark in Kenya’s entertainment scene.
They took to Twitter to show off their Youtube award which they credited to their teamwork.
