Suna East MP Junet Mohamed has once again found himself on the spot over his controversial remarks he made while on the campaign trail in Kibra constituency.

Speaking Sunday Afternoon at the DC Grounds in Kibra, the Mp threatened that he would lead Kibra Youth to Karen to burn the house.

Junet claimed voter bribery was taking place at Ruto’s Karen home which he said was built using taxpayers’ money.

“Tukiona watu wa Kibra wakiitwa kule Karen tena, sisi tutaenda huko na kuchoma hiyo nyumba kwa sababu hiyo nyumba ni ya wanainchi ( if we see Kibra residents being invited to Karen again, we will go there and burn that house),” remarked Junet.

Junet also took swipes at DP Ruto’s personal assistant Farouk Kibet claiming that he usually takes bribes to Kibra residents at night. He urged them to burn him alive if they find him doing the same.

“I have heard there is this Ruto’s man called Farouk Kibet. He usually brings money here at night. I am urging you as Kibra people to burn them alive if you find them here,” communicated Junet.

“The law doesn’t allow voter bribery in our land so if you get them bribing, please get a tyre over their heads and burn them up,” added Junet.

Junet claimed Kibra people are peaceful but very dangerous when provoked. He accused Jubilee of stoning and burning their campaign vehicles and materials so as to lay blame on ODM supporters as one way of seeking sympathy votes.

“We are peace lovers but when provoked like yesterday where some people burned their own vehicles here and accused ODM, let them get prepared for a real war,” announced Junet.

While urging the IEBC to conduct a transparent election, Junet exhibited confidence that ODM was going to emerge victorious in the race.

He claimed that there were plans by the import by the electoral body to import Presiding Officers from Nandi and Kericho something he warned ODM will not tolerate.

The Deputy President has been hosting delegations from Kibra in a Campaign strategy that has irked ODM.

Jubilee’s Mac Donald Mariga and ODM’S Imran Okoth are the front runners in the race to succeed Ken Okoth who succumbed to Cancer in August.
