Harambee Stars head coach Francis Kimanzi has named the team that will take on Mozambique in a friendly match set to kick off at 4 PM at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani.
Yanga Fc goalkeeper Farouk Shikalo is set to start in goal while Samuel Olwande and Eric Ouma start in the right-back and left-back positions respectively. Joseph Okumu, who missed the last match against Uganda will partner Gor Mahia’s Joash Onyango in the center of the backline.
In midfield, Victor Wanyama will skipper the side from the center alongside Gor Mahia’s duo of Lawrence Juma and Kenneth Muguna. Upfront, Cliff Nyakeya will play on the right flank while Cliffton Miheso occupies the left flank with Micheal Olunga operating as the lone striker.
This will be Francis Kimanzi’s second match since he was appointed to replace Sebastian Migne in June this year. Kenneth Muguna scored Kenya’s goal in the 1-1 draw with Uganda in the last match at the same venue.
