Nairobi County Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko left Kenyans in stitches after a video of him twanging went viral. He is in Montpellier, France for Milan Pact Awards 2019.
The awards focused on Governance, Sustainable diets and nutrition, social and economic equity, food production, food supply and distribution and food waste prevention, reduction, and management.
In the video, he was explaining how trains in France operate and promised to bring the same development once he is back in Nairobi.
He also threatened to arrest anyone who will not be obeying traffic lights once he is back in the country without considering whatever rank the individual has in the country.
“Unaona vile magari yanaobey traffic lights. Nikirudi Nairobi either wewe ni VIP ama minister utaenda ndani. Traffic lights must be obeyed,” he said.
Previously, he left many Kenyans in stitches with his fake American accent. He unleashed his hidden accent as he delivered his speech during the opening of the Sustainable Blue Economy Conference at KICC.
Kenyans did not hesitate to react after his video went viral. Check out the reactions below;
