Political activist cum journalist Tony Gachoka has come under intense criticism from a section of online users who have accused him of being biased in his Point Blank interviews always aired on KTN Tv every Wednesday evening.
According to the users, Tony who usually invites political leaders into his show has always been biased against Deputy President William Ruto.
The allegations rose once again on Wednesday 9 after Tony hosted Human Rights Activist Boniface Mwangi in his show.
In his show, among many other topics touching on Ruto, Tony had sought the activist’s opinion on why Deputy President William Ruto had been adversely mentioned in many corruption cases.
However, many users seemed not pleased with Tony’s frequent mention of Ruto’s name in every statement he made.

He was accused of dragging Ruto’s name in every conversation he holds with his guest something many alleged was Gachoka’s trick to soil the deputy president in every way possible.
“Now when a journalist invites Raila Odinga, Eugene Wamalwa, David Murathe, Maina Kamanda, Raphael Tuju, James Orengo to his birthday party and then allows guests to endorse Raila Odinga, do you really expect that candidate to remain neutral??” posted one user on Facebook Luiz Kipkoech Patrick

This is not the first time the outspoken journalist is coming under attack over the same.
Three weeks ago, the former Raila Odinga’s aide had a bitter exchange of words between him and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen after Gachoka tweeted that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto were no longer one but two different people saying their relationship was fast fading away.

Gachoka’s tweet angered Murkomen who alleged that the political analyst has specialised in attacking DP William Ruto on his show. He dared him to invite Baringo Senator Gideon Moi to the show and explain his links with South Sudan.
