Mesut Ozil has not been in good terms with Unai Emery since the Spaniard replaced Arsene Wenger as the manager last season. He has only featured for 2 matches this season and that was in the Carabao Cup win to Championship side Nottingham Forest and the draw with Watford in the English Premier League.
His continued absence from the team has caused a division among fans and the latest twist to the tale will only widen the rift between him and the manager and fans.
