Despite some negative news in the past few weeks, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has delivered some good news for fans. The French midfielder has been injured for the majority of this season and missed Manchester United’s loss to Newcastle in the league.
However, in a social media video, Pogba revealed that he is on his way back into contention to play for Ole Gunnar’s team. Pogba posted clip of himself on a stationary bicycle with the quote ””They say hard work pay off, what about hard work in the heat? Let’s see.”
This should serve as good news for Manchester United who have endured a disastrous start to the season. The team is currently 12th on the log with nine points from the first 8 games and it just two points above the relegation zone.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has however been without the influential midfielder a well as striker Antony Martial and defender Eric Bailly who are all out with injuries.
Pogba and Martial, in particular, have been missed as without them, Manchester United has looked blunt in attack and has not scored more than once in their last four Premier League outings.
Pogba’s return after the international break will coincide with the team’s meeting with fierce rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford. A loss in the match could see Manchester United drop to the relegation places.
