English giants Manchester United have now been linked with a January move for Russian striker Aleksandr Sobolev as coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to add fire-power in his team.
The 22-year forward has been in sensational form in the Russian Premier League this season where he turns out for Krylia Sovetov. He has scored eight league goals so far.
His form has drawn attention across Europe with some of the top guns keeping tabs on the striker who is yet to play for the senior Russian national team. He is a former Russia U21 player.
United is one of the sides linked with the striker. According to the UK media, the Old Trafford Club is closely following the player and could make a move in January if he impresses United scouts.
Solskjaer’s side is struggling in the league this season largely due to a blunt attack following the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan. Marcus Rashford is out of form while Anthony Martial is currently nursing an injury. The club has been forced to turn to 18-year old Mason Greenwood for several matches.
