A group of women leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto, Inua Mama Jenga Taifa, stormed Murang’a county with bags of goodies for the residents.
The group led by area MP Alice Wahome and Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga donated gas cookers, wheelchairs, plastic chairs, umbrellas for businesses and cheques to a group of women in Kandara Constituency.
According to Omanga, the project is expected to move to all parts of the country.
The senator also thanked residents for the warm reception and promised more development.
“Thank you the great people of Kandara constituency for the warm reception&love. Langata is ready for the politics of development and empowerment.
Several groups thru our host @AliceWahome were supported&empowered. This noble initiative will go to all parts of Kenya,” said Omanga.
Inua mama is a group of female leaders who are in support of DP Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.
It was formed to allegedly counter team embrace, that is led by Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and her Kitu Counterpart Charity Ngilu, that is reportedly against early 2022 campaigns.
Team Embrace has been touring the country to campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta and Nasa leader Raila Odinga’s handshake.
The team, however, has been critical of DP Ruto’s Tanga Tanga movements.
The two groups have been locking horns in political gatherings as they trade accusations.
