It’s that time of the week again when fantasy Premier League managers need to make changes to their squads. Last week’s average points were at 51 points which was highly impressive.

Below, we look at 3 players that are a must-have on game week 8.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang

The Arsenal forward has been prolific so far this season. Aubameyang has racked up seven goals, an assist and 10 bonus points in the first seven Gameweeks. His total of 53 points leaves him joint-third in the overall standings, level with Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) and Teemu Pukki (£7.2m).

He has only failed to score in one of Arsenal’s Premier League games so far and with Bournemouth up next at the Emirates, he could extend that run having scored against them twice last season, both at home and away.

Wilfred Zaha

The Crystal Palace winger is starting to find his form after a slow start to the season. Zaha’s assist in last weekend’s home win over Norwich City gave him his first attacking returns of 2019/20.

A trip to West Ham United gives Zaha the chance to deliver more FPL points. He scored nine of his 10 goals away from home last season.

And his hosts are expected to be without their first-choice goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski (£5.1m). That points to more success for Zaha as he looks to get on the scoresheet for the first time this term.

Riyad Mahrez

he Algerian has climbed to joint-fourth among FPL midfielders thanks to a series of strong all-round performances.Mahrez has provided two goals, two assists and 25 points over the last two Gameweeks.

His improving output highlights why he is earning more minutes in Manchester City’s starting XI this season. The winger has produced two goals and five assists in total over his four starts, recording double-digit FPL hauls on three of those occasions.

And with Kevin De Bruyne (£10.0m) an injury doubt for Sunday’s home match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Mahrez could become even more important for Pep Guardiola’s side.
