One of the best features in the Kenyan Premier League is the high level of talent that is present among almost all teams. The football on display is usually entertaining and it’s not a wonder that more and more stars are emerging from the Kenyan topflight and going on to play in even better and high standards leagues around the world.
The goals are beautifully constructed and the play is just amazing to watch. Last week, Wazito FC’s clash with Zoo Kericho produced moments that would get worldwide attention should it had happened in the English Premier League or the Champions League.
Derrick Onyango, the Wazito Fc leader in attack flicked a beautiful ball over the top of the onrushing Eugene Ambulwa for what is commonly known as ‘Kanzu’ among Kenyan football fans. The move was so delicate and precise that it qualifies to be Matchday four’s skill of the week.

Eventually, Wazito Fcwon their first match of the season 2-0 with Derrick Onyango providing the assist for the first goal scored by Victor Ndinya and later in the game, substitute Elvis Rupia scored his second of the season to seal the win.
Next up for Wazito is a clash against Mathare United this Saturday at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani from 3.PM. Make an effort to go watch the match and see the skills live from the pitchside.
