Kenyan Radio Personalities That Disappeared Without a Trace

Fame is priceless. However, sometimes it can be shortlived. This has happened to many top Kenyan radio personalities who are nowhere to be seen. Most of them are said to be languishing in poverty , others own private investments while we don’t know of what the rest are up to but the question still remains, where did these voices disappear to?

1.Angela Angwenyi:

She was one of the best presenters on Radio . Angela Angwenyi hosted the drive show on Kiss FM alongside Albert Josiah. She however left Radio and hadn’t heard of her since until the NYS Scandal in 2018.

The presenter was among those whose bank accounts were frozen during the investigations on the National Youth Service scandal.

2.Olivia Otieno:

Olivia Otieno as is another sultry presenter who left Radio, never to be heard again.’ Double O’ as she was fondly known as a prominent media personality in Kenya for quite a while in the 2000s, then all of a sudden she made a quiet exit from the scene, which was then increasingly evident till Kenyans began asking themselves what really happened to her. After a radio, she moved to Canada and later came back to become a was hired as a Sales and Marketing Manager in one of the hospitality establishments in Nairobi.

3.Albert Josiah :

Former Kiss 100 Presenter left Radio, moved to the UK and currently is the General Manager of Film Studios Kenya.

4.Vipul Doggy Dogg:

Vipul was one craziest presenters on radio. After leaving radio, the loud, sassy presenter got married and that new life must have kept him busy because he has been notably missing in action.

5.Muthoni Bwika:

This Radio Veteran was known all over that even E-sir had mentioned her in one of his songs:”ni kama Kiss bila Muthoni Bwika…Jo!”.After the radio job,Muthoni became a Montessori teacher,got saved and started a family.
