Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is lethal both on the pitch and off it is his Twitter activity is anything to go by. The Gabonese striker has been on form this season for the Gunners and has scored 7 goals in his first seven Premier League matches this season.
However, on Wednesday night Borussia Dortmund Chief Executive Officer Hans-Joachim Watzke mocked the former Dortmund player with some interesting quotes. The CEO claimed that the player only moved to Arsenal for money and it hurts to see him play in the Europa League instead of the more lucrative Champions League.
“Aubameyang will probably be warm-hearted when he looks at his bank account, but on Wednesdays, will be saddened when he has to watch the Champions League on television,” the CEO said.
Aubameyang in a response to the comment tweeted out how indeed the Dortmund CEO is money-driven citing how he promised to never sell former Borussia winger Ousmane Dembele but quickly sanctioned a deal the minute Barcelona offered 100 million pounds for the Frenchman.
Better for you I never talk about why I really left Dortmund Mr Watzke you such a clown 🤡 I remember that time you said we never gonna sell Ousmane then you saw more than 100M you were the first to take that money 🤣🤣🤙🏽don’t talk about money please!!! Leave me alone pls 🙏🏽

Safe to say that Hans-Joachim Watzke will not be mocking the Arsenal man anytime soon now!
