The record KPL champions have secured a multi million deal with the Brewers after betting firm Sportpesa withdrew its sponsorship owing to a tax row with the Government.
A source from the club has told Opera News that the deal has been struck and will be made formal on Saturday morning at Moi International Sports Center Kasarani.
The deal is said to have been brokered by Gor Mahia Patron Raila Odinga who is a close friend to Keroche owner Tabitha Karanja.
“All is sealed. It’s a good multi-million deal. The club was struggling because of the huge wage bill and also other expenses like preparing and traveling for Caf matches,” a source from the club disclosed.
In 2015, Gor was close to sealing a deal with the company but talks broke down in the final stages.
