Nairobi governor Mike Sonko shocked many people when he suspended one of his most trusted ministers, Charles Kerich on Wednesday.

Kerich, a veteran journalist, was one of the 16 county staff the governor suspended over the Precious Talent Academy Tragedy. He was viewed as Sonko’s super minister.

He was what Fred Matiang’i is to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Sarah Wairimu Launches Fight For Property

Slain tycoon Tob Cohen’s widow Sarah Wairimu has denied claims that her husband owed over Sh35 million to two Kiambu politicians.

In an affidavit filed in court, Wairimu says that she was not aware that her late husband owed anyone such colossal amounts, let alone any Kiambu politicians.

You Can Divorce at Any Time-Judge Rules

Couples married through civil process are now free to divorce any time.

Initially, the law provided that couples in civil unions could only file for divorce after three years.

However, Justice Reuben Nyakundi yesterday declared section 66 (1) of the Marriage Act that barred such couples from divorcing within the three years unconstitutional.
