Magoha shutdown St Catherine Bombolulu Primary School in Kibra and Pama Academy in Kangemi, after both were discovered to have weak structures.

The no-nonsense Magoha had pointed out that the school had the same similarities as the collapsed building at the Dagoretti based school.

“I have been to every classroom. I have been on the floor of the building the and basically, there is no difference from the structure that collapsed.” remarked the Education CS.

On Thursday, the Education ministry revoked the license for Precious Talents School over the disaster that claimed the lives of 8 pupils and left 64 others injured.

Magoha, who is also a surgeon, further directed the transfer of the pupils from Pama and Precious Talents to public schools.

Nearly 800 pupils from tragedy stricken institution, would be transferred to Ngong Forest Primary School, which will admit 480 learners, 130 will move to Riruta Satellite Primary School and 180 will be taken to Jamhuri Primary School.
