In the age of cross-border crimes and widespread money laundering, DCI George Kinoti has partnered with United Kingdom’s most powerful law enforcement agency to aid in solving complex crimes.

This comes just days after President Uhuru Kenyatta cancelled the infamous Arror and Kimwaror dams following reports that the monies meant for the projects had been stolen.

In building a water-tight to incriminate the relevant authorities tasked with developing the water tower, DPP Noordin Haji travelled to Italy to trace the paper trail of the billions of money that had been siphoned from the stalled construction.

An intricate web of actors spread across Europe and Kenya would be established as the key perpetrators of the crime and recommended for court action.

Tuesday afternoon, DCI Kinoti, while welcoming UK’s High Commission to Kenya Ms Jane Marriott, said the British top intelligence body would partner with Kenya.

The National Crime Agency is the single-most powerful intelligence body in UK, acting as the contact point between other agencies as Interpol and Europol.

This move comes just months after Kinoti jetted into the United States of America to discuss bilateral engagements with the country’s Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).

The move has seen FBI organize a series of regional security conferences in the region to train security operators on the new forms and shapes of crime in the age of internet technology.
