Chemelil Sugar are getting ready to take on AFC Leopards head-on when they meet in their next Kenyan Premier League match, which is to be played on Sunday.

The Millers have not picked a win from Ingwe in their last five league meetings with the Andre Casa Mbungo-led side walking home with a 2-0 win in their most recent match.

In the new season, 2019/20, AFC Leopards have their heads raised after grabbing four points from three matches, their first bunch of three points coming from their most recent battle against newbies Wazito FC.

On the other hand, Chemelil Sugar have not etched any point on their name from their two matches, the most recent one being a humiliation of 4-0 at the hands of Sofapaka at Narok County Stadium.

But Baraza, who boasts of vast experience in the Kenyan Premier League, says his side is doing everything possible to get out of the ditch. He says a good match, and probably a win against AFC Leopards would raise their morale going forward.

The former Tusker, Sony Sugar and Muhoroni Youth coach, however, admits that Ingwe could be full of spirits at the moment, but he warns them of complacency.

“Every club or rather every coach wants a win whenever they face an opponent. It is not any different with us as we prepare to face off with AFC Leopards, so we are conducting our training sessions with a mindset of winning the match,” Baraza told Opera News.

So far, AFC Leopards are placed in the 11th position of the Kenyan Premier League table while Chemelil Sugar are at the rock-bottom.
