Kayole-based Pastor Godfrey Migwi has landed a new job at BBC as a Religion and Politics analyst in Africa.

Taking to social media, the pastor shared his good news with his fans. In his words, Migwi described himself as a watchman who never sleeps or fears because he speaks for the voiceless. The pastor, who is also a vernacular singer, attracts a huge following both online and offline.

Majority of his congregation is composed of ladies who flock the church to see him sing, preach and get an opportunity to be prayed for.

Earlier this year, Migwi was fired for showing support to DP Ruto and mobilizing Mt Kenya to support him. Migwi landed in trouble after he was filmed in his home backyard in Murang’a questioning the president’s development record in Central Kenya.

The Kayole-based preacher took to social media to thank his loyal listeners after his final show on Wednesday, June 26.

He also revealed that he was disappointed to be leaving the airwaves after seven great years of dedicated service to his listeners.
