Uhuru,Ruto and Raila Lead Kenyans in Mourning Precious Talent Academy Victims

President Uhuru Kenyatta, on Monday, led Kenyans in mourning Precious Talent Academy victims by ensuring that necessarily agencies were in action to contain the situation and deaden further suffering.
In a tweet, he sent out a message of condolence to the families and friends affected by the tragedy.

Deputy President, William Ruto, also followed suit and wished a quick recovery to the injured ones.

ODM leader, Raila Odinga, also joined other Kenyans in mourning and offered a message of condolence to the families and friends of Precious Talent Academy.
Expressing his distress, to those affected by the collapse of a classroom at the school, he divulged that all needed to be done to unearth how the incident took place and the necessary action taken.

On his part, Ford Kenya Party chairman, Moses Wetangula, also sent his condolences, urging safety standards to be ensured in all buildings in the country and emphasizing on accountability on those who did mediocre jobs.

 

On Monday morning, Kenyans woke up to the sad news of the death of seven pupils of Precious Talent School along Ngong Road, after a classroom collapsed on them.
The incident, which happened at around 6 a.m, left 64 injured but only two were in a critical condition, Dr Komori from Kenyatta National Hospital confirmed.
The owner of the school, Moses Wainaina, claimed the accident may have been caused by the construction of a sewer line which he claimed halted the foundation of the school building.
He added that the incident was accidental and sent condolences to the families of the affected, adding that the school had large numbers since the area had no public school.

Kariobangi Sharks, a football team playing in the Kenyan Premier League, also offered their condolences.

Kennedy Ombima, Kenyan rapper well-known by his stage name King Kaka, also sent his condolences to the early morning incident.
