1. Meeting friends & family
Call me old fashioned, but if he has you meet all of his friends and his family he likes you a lot. Men will not go out of their way to introduce you to all their relatives if you are not the main chick.
2. Takes you out in public
He takes you out often in public, has nothing to hide. Do not judge him on those type of dates. The fact he took you out in public, tells the world he likes being seen with you.
3. He wants to get to know you
Most men do not take the time to get to know their booty call. Or side chick to be less frank. They just want to hit it and quit. If he actually asks thought to provoke questions, take the time to answer them. Take time out to finally open up to someone. He is opening up by even sparking up a deep conversation.
4. Brings your favorite food
I had to include this in the list of signs. Women we love our food. Food can dictate our mood. A grown man knows this. If he knows exactly what you want to eat before you asking, marry him sis. No for real, not only is he feeding you without you asking, but he offers or just brings your favorite. This says he is paying attention to keeping you happy.
5. Emotional connection
You had a bad day and just start venting to your bae. If he doesn’t make eye contact and listen to you or show any type of emotional connection – he is not that into you. Emotional connections are important in relationships. If your other half isn’t feeling up their best, you need to be there for them. If he doesn’t show any care when you are emotionally weak, drop him. The emotional disconnect is a big red flag in any relationship.
6. Goes out of the way to see and talk to you
You know he is busy and so are you. He rarely has time to eat, yet he makes sure he calls and checks on you. Sometimes he may even just want to see you during the day just because. He checks up on you constantly. If he is doing this for multiple women, don’t worry he will slip up soon enough. At that point, you know you are only a side dish.
7. How he treats his phone calls around you
This is a big one. If he answers all types of calls in front of you that is a great sign. Men who answer their baby mother’s call in front of you isn’t something that happens all the time. If he always has to step out of the room to take his calls, you are probably not the only girl.
8. He calls you at night.
But I’m not talking about six pm phone calls. We’re talking about late hour calls. Those are booty calls if you ask me, and one of the clearest signs you’re a side chick. Anytime after 10 and he’s just looking for some easy and quick sex.
9. Invests in your Dreams
I honestly couldn’t decide on this one is the top sign or not. I’ve had to drop my goals for a man, and then it hit me if he really cares he will support my dreams. A woman shouldn’t have to short change herself for a man. Some men do want their woman barefoot and in the kitchen all day. Other men who are highly interested in their woman, will invest time and money into her future.
