Inua Mama Jenga Taifa, a women’s group of political leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto, stormed Taita Taveta County with bags of goodies for residents.
In pictures making rounds on social media, the leaders distributed foodstuffs, gas cylinders, motorbikes, saloon equipment which they gifted residents.
The leaders led by Malindi Member f Parliament Aisha Jumwa also had a political rally where they sold their agenda to the residents.
The Inua Mama group is in support of DP Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.
After donating goodies to Taita Taveta residents the group held a political rally in Kwale where they sold their agenda.
It is believed that the group was formed to ostensibly counter Team Embrace which is against DP Ruto’s presidential ambitions but in support of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Nasa leader Raila Odinga Handshake.
The two groups have been locking political horns as they run their agenda in various part of the country through a war of words.
Team Embrace is led by Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and her Kitui counterpart Charity Ngilu.
