Wazito Trio in as Kenya U20 Squad For Cecafa Tourney is Named

Kenya U20 national team coach Stanley Okumbi has named his final squad that will represent the country in the Cecafa U20 Championship that will be staged in Uganda between September 21- October 5.

The team has been in training in readiness for the regional championship with coach Okumbi keen on leading Kenya to regional glory. The Rising Stars left the country on Wednesday night for Uganda.
The team consists of Wazito FC trio of Musa Masika, Joshua Nyatini and Bixente Otieno. The three were part of Wazito team that played Western Stima over the weekend.

Kariobangi Sharks has produced five players. They are Sidney Lokale, Tom Teka, Peter Oudo, Patrick Otieno and Brian Bwire. Dagoretti High School captain, Boniface Mwangemi who’s expected to join the club is also in the squad. Kisumu All Stars duo of Alvin Ochieng and Steven Otieno have also been included in the team.
Kenya has been pooled in Group B alongside Ethiopia, Zanzibar, and Tanzania. Uganda, Sudan, Eritrea, and Djibouti make up Group A while Burundi, South Sudan, and Somalia are in Group C.
