Ulinzi Stars head coach Benjamin Nyangweso is not complaining about their 0-0 draw against Sofapaka in a Kenyan Premier League match played on Saturday, September 14.

The Soldiers battled in search of a win against the Batoto ba Mungu but the visitors stood tall to share the spoils.

Speaking after the match, Nyangweso says it was not a bad result and praised Sofapaka for playing all their hearts off the pitch to contain the hosts. They played at Afraha Stadium.

“I think 0 – 0 was not a bad result, considering Sofapaka is a strong side. We played well too, and the only concern I take to training for the next game is the finishing,” he said as is quoted by the club’s website.

Ulinzi Stars will be meeting Mathare United in their next league match and the coach strongly believes that they will register a positive result against the Slum Boys.

“Mathare United is a different side from Sofapaka; another strong and organized side so we need to really work on the areas we think denied us three points in the Sofapaka game. We have started training on a high and I believe we will do better,” he said.

The club has also announced that their dependable player Omar Mbongi, who was out with injury, is back in training. Ombongi has been out since EAC Military Games.
