Fashion trends come and go, but some fashion looks have refused to die.

Here are some of them that Nairobians are tired of seeing:

1.Vans

These shoes have become common among the young fashion crowd. If you stand in the middle of a random part of the CBD and throw a stone, it will most likely hit a young person wearing a pair of vans.

2.Fake Designer Clothes

Versace, Gucci, Fendi and Supreme are some of the brands that have been knocked off in Kenya. The unfortunate thing about wearing knock offs is that it makes on look cheap and tacky which is the opposite of what one wanted, to look high fashion.

3.Kalenjin Shoes

These shoes are a popular fixture among many Kalenjin and Kikuyu ladies. This paired with a 6-piece skirt suit is a must-have for many ladies.

4.Chunky Shoes

‘Dad’ shoes have become a mainstream sneaker must-have since the release of the Balenciaga Triple-S, the problem is, they are an eyesore no matter how you look at it

5. Tights as Pants

Repeat after me, TIGHTS ARE NOT PANTS. Unfortunately, many Nairobi ladies seem oblivious of this and often pair sheer tights with a tiny top leaving their camel toes and underwear exposed.

6.Biker Shorts

For many of us, biker shorts were fashionable growing up and were often worn underneath clothes. Nowadays, they are worn as pants leaving nothing the imagination.

7. Checked shirts

No, just no.
