Sarah Kamotho Wairimu was one entertaining, charming and a friendly person! This is according to Gabriele Cohen, sister to the late Toby Cohen when she speaks of the main suspect in her brother’s murder case.

On his part, Toby’s brother in-Law Roy Stratten described Wairimu as a good person, nice-looking woman, very educated and well-spoken lady whom he found hard to believe she had actually carried out the shocking ordeal.

“She was a nice-looking woman, good educated, very well-spoken, different culture than ours…No I can’t say anything negative about her. Absolutely not” stated Roy.

The family added that Toby Cohen rarely shares much about his relationship and in case he does, it was only in a good way.

They revealed that after the family started experiencing problems, they adviced Cohen to go back to the Netherlands but he insisted that he was not going back since he was fully a Kenyan.

“Never ever in my life, I am more Kenyan than you may think, I am 32 years old here, I know more about this country than you do” narrated Roy Strathern about what Cohen told him upon request to leave Kenya.

The family was, however, thankful that the body was found within a shorter period saying that a missing person usually takes five to ten years before their bodies are traced.

The body of Dutch billionaire was found on Friday at his home more than 40 days after he was reported missing.

Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti said the body was discovered inside an underground water tank wrapped in a paper bag and in a bad shape.

His wife Sarah Wairimu Cohen was arrested on August 28 and interrogated at the DCI headquarters.

Despite appealing the court’s decision to detain her, the judge ordered that she remain in police custody until September 12.

Already, Police have arrested two other more suspects in connection with Cohen’s murder. Their identities, however, remains unknown.

“We have 2 suspects so far and we are going to arrest more. Anybody who was involved in this gruesome murder shall not be spared. But there are more who are involved, not just two” stated Mr. Kinoti.
