Highlights From The Star-Studded Hennesy Code Party

Walking into Lava Latte located at 209 State House Road on Saturday evening was nothing short of breathtaking. Hennesy gave Nairobians a perfect excuse to get lost in the night and the never-ending well of the smooth cognac that was being served diligently.
The night sparkled in gold as the theme of the Hennessy Code Party event was black and gold. On entering the chic space, you were greeted with a group of beautiful ladies ready with luminous tags for everyone with an entrance ticket or pass.
The event dubbed ‘Hennesy Artistry’ is among the brand’s latest attempts in connecting with local artists and creating an international platform for them to showcase their skills. The location meshed perfectly with the theme of the event as the walls inside the rustic cafe are composed of unique art pieces, giving off an aesthetically pleasing ambience.
The organizers of the event did not disappoint in their fire lineup of performances including ex Camp Mulla lead singer Miss Karun, Steph Kapella and the young and talented Ochungulo Family.
Steph Kapella blew away the crowd with an electric performance featuring a certain bootylicious lady whose grinding skills left men’s tongues wagging.
Despite Ochungulo Family getting everyone on their feet, they failed to deliver and left many disappointed.
According to a representative from Hennessy, the DJ didn’t have most of their songs as they confirmed attendance too late. Irrespective, they did manage to perform their latest hit ‘Mbiginji’ and ‘Alutta’ which excited the crowd.
Hennessy is truly the gift that keeps on giving as drinks, bitings and gifts were the order of the night. The mixologists worked the party like the professionals they are, handing out an array of perfectly mixed and blended Hennesy cocktails that kept the crowd alive.
Whether you’re a sweet tooth or you like to drink yours neat, everyone’s needs were catered for.
