Just a week after engaging in a controversial church fight with Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Nominated MP Maina Kamanda has been chased away from a church function in Laikipia county.
According to reports, the angry congregants at Nanyuki AIPCA Church gave the team a cold reception shortly after getting to the church grounds.
Kamanda who had visited together with part of his Kieleweke team were chased away by angry congregants who warned the controversial MP against bringing politics to their church.
The angry worshippers who were holding placards while protesting told the leaders that they do not want their dirty politics in their church.
The masses seemed to have refused to be hoodwinked and keep worship places out of bounce for politicians.
The incidence marked another weekend of trouble for Kamanda, who does not seem too popular in the Mount Kenya region at the moment.

On Monday, Muranga Catholic Bishop James Wainaina announced a ban on politicians attending fundraisings ceremonies in two counties of Muranga and Kirinyaga.
The order which will be in place until further notice was to reduce the incidence of politicians using the pulpit to settle their scores.
“They set a bad precedent and treated the House of God as a place where political scores can be settled. I feel this incident is a strong confirmation of the reasons to limit time and pace offered to politicians,” stated the bishop
