Lawyer Miguna Miguna launched a scathing attack on DCI Boss George Kinoti on Saturday for taking credit for the discovery of the body of missing tycoon Tob Cohen saying the discovery was made by Dutch detectives.
Miguna said: The DCI did not discover Tob Cohen’s body. The Dutch detectives who arrived in Kenya just a few days ago did.
He added: “You did not even secure the scene. You have been rummaging through and contaminating the scene like rogue beavers.
Hogwash. The @DCI_Kenya DID NOT “discover” Tob Cohen’s body. The Dutch detectives who arrived in Kenya just a few days ago did. You are corrupt and incompetent. You didn’t even secure the scene. You have been rummaging through and contaminating the scene like rogue beavers. https://t.co/vU4XU1qIkh

The hard to please Lawyer had in a different tweet complained that the crime scene was not secured:
“The crime scene isn’t secured. People wearing no forensic uniforms and gloves are walking over the place. Multiple cross-contamination of the scene with human saliva, sweat, fingerprints, footprints, etc are occurring” he said.
His statement contradicts that of DCI Boss Kinoti who said on Friday that its homicide detectives retrieved the body of the Dutch businessman who went missing between 19th to 20th July.
He said he ordered that the home of the businessman be secured immediately the day he was reported missing.
“From the onset when this matter was reported to us, I immediately ordered this place be preserved as a scene of crime. We knew reasons why instinctively we had to preserve it as a scene of crime,”
He added: “We never wanted to leave anything to chance, widened out to make sure this crime is not covered at all. There is no perfect crime.”
The DCI described the murder of the businessman as gruesome.
“He was murdered in his residence. It was a gruesome murder. They took their time to kill him,” he said.
Kinoti added: “These people are heartless. If its money, domestic issues you can not treat someone that way”.
