As of the time this post was published, Orange Democratic Party had not issued any statement on Itumbi’s claim.

The ODM Leader was last seen in public on Tuesday during the presentation of nomination certificate to Imran Okoth.

His official social media pages were last updated on 12 September.

In January while in Dar es Salaam for SportPesa Cup final between Bandari FC and Kariobangi Sharks, Raila appeared to lose his balance before he was held by his security detail. This raised concerns about his health.

However, he assured the public that he was well

“Dear Kenyans and friends from around the globe, I am well and in Good health. Thank you for your concern,” Raila said.

Here’s how Kenyans reacted to Itumbi’s post:

Mwalimu Jacob Aketch: Sickness is normal anyway but don’t refer general body check-up as sickness, We also know your intention and for your information all those who wished raila death before are not alive today.

Sen Bonface Kungu: Very sarcastic. You’ve felt short of wishing him death.

Tonnie Wa Sophia: Baba will have more great weeks to come.

Francis Ochola: You don’t have the capacity to speak about Raila’s health at any rate. Know your boundaries.

Munoro Mwenda: Somehow I don’t like this post, Itumbi style up, the post is somewhat nauseating.

Oppo Arap Oloo: Quick recovery.

Ole Murigu: Unnecessary speech, why don’t you go visit him, do you have to tell us.

Ken Muya: Crass
