A well-choreographed plan was allegedly made by Sarah Wairimu to force a marriage with the murdered Dutch billionaire Tob Cohen, says a report by citizen tv.

The late Cohen and Sarah were reportedly embroiled in a bitter dispute revolving around the wealth of the deceased tycoon.

According to a report by Citizen TV,Cohen arrived in the country in 1987 as the CEO of Philips company. It is in the same company where he met Sarah who acted as his secretary.

The two had a casual relationship as Cohen continued to establish a business empire in Kenya.

As time went by, Sarah allegedly demanded to be married or else she uses her influence to have him deported and work permit cancelled.

It is alleged that she threatened to use her influence through the then powerful internal security minister from Murang’a and also that of a former Nyeri MP, who lost in the 2017 ,  to make good his threat.

To secure his business deal, Cohen and Sarah walked into Attorney General’s office on May 30, 2007 and solemnised their marriage.

However, despite legalising their marriage, the two reportedly never slept together, with Cohen said to have had his meals at Muthaiga Golf Club.

Their relationship deteriorated after Sarah allegedly demanded a 50 per cent share of Cohen’s wealth.

However, that could not be possible after Cohen allegedly wrote his will and sidelined Sarah. He reportedly entitled his wealth to his sister and brother.

Cohen was reported missing from July 19. His wife was later arrested and on Thursday this week she faced murder charges but could not take plea after the judge ruled that she undergoes a mental test.
