Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is sweating over the fitness of five of his key players ahead of Saturday, September 15 English Premier League match against Leicester City.

United have started the 2019/20 campaign poorly winning one of their four league matches so far. They thrashed Chelsea in the opener before drawing with Wolves and Southampton. Their only defeat came in the hands of Crystal Palace. Ole’s hopes of resuming the league on a high after the international break is on the balance as he is likely to miss some of his key players against the 2016 champions.

Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba and Aaron Wan Bissaka are all doubtful for the game after picking injuries. Martial and Shaw picked injuries during a league match against Crystal Palace while Pogba, Lingard, and Bissaka all had to withdraw from international duty after picking minor injuries.

United already has light squad having signed just three players in the summer and the Norwegian tactician may have to turn to academy kids to bolster the team for the Saturday match. In the absence of Lingard and Martial, 17-year old Mason Greenwood who has made four substitute appearances this season could be handed a start.
