According to reports, the first group, in the morning, stormed County Assembly premises agitating to have Speaker Oloo replaced following his ongoing court case in the Ksh4.1b Lake Basin Development Authority mall scandal.
Chaos erupted after the second group, which is against Onyango’s replacement, faced off with their counterparts at the county assembly gate.
Police arrived at the scene to control the situation.

The chaos comes just hours after ODM MCAs settled on Eng. Elisha Oraro, MCA North Kisumu Ward, as the acting Speaker pending a court case facing Oloo.
Mr Oloo, who was being sought by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) over a stalled project at Lake Basin Mall, was put in police custody after presenting himself to Central Police Station in Mombasa on Saturday.

His arrest came after the Director of Public Prosecution, Noordin Haji, gave orders following the conclusion of investigations by his team and EACC last week.
On Monday, Oloo denied charges of graft levelled against him by the DPP.
Appearing before a Nairobi anti-corruption court, he denied offences of engaging in a project without prior planning, willful failure to comply with the law relating to procurement, as well as, abuse of office, among other charges.
He was charged together with former Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA) Managing Director Peter Anguko Abuok and Bobasi Member of Parliament, Innocent Obiri Momanyi.
All pleaded not guilty and Oloo was freed on a cash bail of Ksh6 million, while Abuok and Momanyi were each released on Ksh10 million cash bail.
The prosecution, however, did not oppose their release on bail but asked the court to direct that the accused persons deposit their passports and not interfere with witnesses in the case.
