Instagram model Kairetu Lishan jumped from a little known model to an overnight sensation thanks to a video that broke on Twitter.
A drunken Lishan is seen in the video railing at NRG presenter Barack Jacuzzi and accusing him of ignoring her whilst she has procured three abortions because of him.
As expected, there was backlash because most Kenyans felt that she was just too young to have had 3 abortions. Taking to her Instagram, Kairetu disclosed that unlike previously stated, she has only had 2 abortions but said 3 in a drunken stupor.
She went on to add that she didn’t want to comment on it earlier as she felt that the issue was getting out of hand and adding this tidbit would make it spiral out of control.
“Its actually just twice must have added another one in my drunk head. But I already said what I said and the video is out there so I didn’t see the need to clear that up especially during that time when the video had just started to trend. With the fear that if I made such a statement the video will trend even more,” she explained.
Abortion backlash
The petite beauty was also forced to clap back at someone who shamed her for her abortion.
“So uyu ametoa mimba moja ya mwanaume if that was not enough na anampanulia miguu bado mpaka zinafika mimba tatu akizitoa tu? enyewe when your beautiful and daft your private parts suffer the most, anyways mbingijii imekuliwa na ndogiiiiiiiiiii,” read a comment by kenyan_girl_x.
In response, Kairetu wrote, “@kenyan_girl_x be careful thick headed bitch, you’re on my turf now. Who are you to think it will not be you tomorrow; or your niece. So watch your mouth.”
