Kenyan Dancehall Singer KRG the Don has finally addressed claims that he is involved in illegal businesses. The Singer has for so long been rumoured to be involved in drug dealing activities which have made him one of the richest artists in Kenya.

Speaking in an online interview with People Daily, KRG denied his involvement, attributing his wealth to several entrepreneurial investments.  The Singer rubbished the rumour insisting that he hustled so hard for his money and that business is his key source of income.

” Just ignore the rumours. I have invested heavily in real estate, travels and tour through Taraji Safaris, construction through Killions Group, motor vehicle and farming,”  he stated.

“And these are all sources of income. I hustle for my money. So, anything else you hear out there trying to put labels on me is just malicious gossip.”

KRG  is known for his flamboyant lifestyle which is evident from the posh cars, his expenditure on music video and the multiple times that he flaunted wads of cash online. The Singer was reluctant to reveal the exact amount of money he invested to establish his music business but made it clear he spent not less than 100 Million.

“When I started Fast Cash Music, it was about working with the less privileged talents, to empower them through music, and not just music, but good quality music,” he said.

“It took time, blood and sweat, and a lot of money of course; to make it the brand it is today. It was a long process and if I was to quantify the money I have put in the business, it wouldn’t be less than Sh100 million.

“But it is also not just about money, but what it offers. The move has since given birth to the ‘new wave’ of music we are enjoying in Kenya today.”

The 28-year-old rose to fame after his collabo with Redsan dubbed ‘Get with It’.  He then founded his record label Fast Cash Music before moving to other businesses.
