This comes in the wake of racist chants directed at him by fans in Italy. The burly forward was subjected to monkey chants from Cagliari fans while taking a penalty during Inter’s 2-1 win over Cagliari ten days ago.

Cases of racial abuse in football have been on the rise in recent weeks. Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham and Manchester United duo of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford have all suffered racial abuse from their clubs’ supporters for missing penalties in recent weeks.Image result for LUKAKU

Serie A leaders promise to take action against Cagliari fans and now Lukaku wants FIFA and UEFA to take action against those culpable. The former Manchester United man added that he is fully focusing on his football but wants the relevant bodies to end the vice.

“Now I think Serie A is taking action, I’m hoping UEFA and FIFA is going to be next, and also the FA because a lot of my friends, they play in the Premier League. They have been going through it as well on social media. It’s something that needs to happen as well in the UK, but for me right now I just want to focus on my performances,” he stated.

Lukaku will be in action on Saturday when Inter plays Udinese on Saturday evening.
