Huddah Blasts KRA Officials Over Harassment Claims

Kenyan businesswoman and socialite Huddah Monroe has today shamed KRA officials claiming that they like harassing people.

The angry Socialite took to her Instastory to express her complaints adding that she is not ready to take part in bribing activities.

According to Huddah, some KRA officials intimidate people, businesses, and companies by asking them to present documents that they know nothing about.

“Y’all been playing with people for too long. Some of you need to be exposed, seriously beaten up and expelled from Kenya for giving people who are trying to improve the countries economy a hard time with no valid claims.” she wrote

Huddah alleges that KRA asked for documents from her and even after she submitted them, they still told her that the documents got lost.

The business lady warned the officials that she will not be part of bribing and clarified that all her businesses are legal. Her advice to other Kenyans is that they should be curious enough to learn the rules and regulations before starting businesses.

She also insisted that Kenyans should be patriotic enough to pay taxes and never find themselves on the wrong side of the government.

This is not the first time for complaints to be lodged against the taxman. In the most recent incident, Keroche breweries directors Joseph Karanja and his wife Tabitha were arrested over Sh14.5 billion tax fraud; an act that sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans.

Mrs Karanja accused the taxman of selective and unfair targeting, arguing that she has always followed the law and was shocked to be accused of tax evasion when the matters were still under a tax tribunal.
