Not long ago news of Tanzanians stars Diamond Platinum and Harmonize allegedly bad blood blew the internet with rumors having it that Konde boy had ditched Wasafi Records (WCB) the label owned by Simba.
Diamond’s father mzee Abdul Juma has spilled the beans in what transpired between the two superstars.
During an interview, baba Dangote revealed that Harmonize had earlier shown signs of ditching Wasafi Records when he started doing solo shows outside the country.
“Harmonize started showing signs of ditching WCB after he felt like he has a bigger brand and he can do his music without Diamond’s support,” he said.
Baba Dangote added that Harmonize is old enough to make his own decisions after all Diamond has already built a brand for him.
“First Naseeb struggled so hard to build a brand for him, he supported his music career,” said Mzee Abdul. “Harmonize is old enough to make his decisions”
He went on to explain that he is Harmonize number one fan and he will still be even after ditching WCB also advised him not to spoil WCB’s name.
Diamond and Harmonize fall -out
A few days ago the Konde boy accused Dangote of being disrespectful for revealing that his Italian fiance, Sarah Michelotti, had an affair with their former bodyguard.
In a rare public expression of disapproval on social media, Harmonize alias Konde Boy called out Diamond saying that it was disrespectful for him to air out that Michelotti cheated with his ex-bodyguard, Mwarabu Fighter in his new song ‘Inama’ ft Congolese star Fally Ipupa.
“This is disrespectful! Kuutangazia uma kuwa mke wangu kabanduliwa na #Mwarabu but there is nothing I can do! Yote heri inshallah. Brand new @diamondplatnumz ft @fallyipupa01 Out now” posted Harmonize.
Diamond dropped the bombshell in his new song dubbed Inama featuring Fally Ipupa. Simba sings that Michelotti’s affair was the reason he kicked Mwarabu Fighter out.
“Mwembamba mwenene uwe na pesa kama Dangote(Dangote), penzi halijali umasikini laweza penda mtu yoyote, penzi sio somo ukasome kwa kitabu, penzi limefanya Harmonize afukuzishe Mwarabu,” sang Diamond. A direct reference to allegations levelled against Mwarabu a year ago.
Early in May 2018, social media was awash with claims that Mwarabu Fighter slept with Harmonize’s girlfriend, Sarah. Harmonize, at the time, was in Nairobi, Kenya, for a concert. Harmonize would later say he trusted Sarah; expressing the belief that she could not cheat on him.
