Former Gor Mahia defender and Ugandan International Godfrey Walusimbi has signed a one year deal with Albania side KF Vllaznia. The left-back has been without a club since parting ways with South African team Kaizer Chiefs in January this year.

”As promised by members of the technical staff, KF Vllaznia has made it a reality to hire another player. It is left-footed defender Walusimbi Godfrey,” KF Vllaznia posted on their official website.

“The player has signed a one-year contract and is expected to arrive in Shkodra within this week, as soon as he is granted an entry visa to Albania. Godfrey, meanwhile, is federally within the deadline for closing the deal and is now officially part of Brotherhood,” the site added.
