Former Kakamega Senator Dr Boni Khalwale has started a debate that seeks to kick out non-performing Kenyans with prime target being AU Representative Raila Odinga, KNUT Secretary General Wilson Sossion and Cotu Secretary General Francis Atwoli.
“Sossion you’re deadwood, Atwoli you’re deadwood, Raila you’re deadwood, you must go!” Khalwale stated.
According to Khalwale Sossion is a deadwood Kenyan claiming that he has failed to use his position as a nominated MP to advance the interests of the teachers in the National Assembly. He has since called for the immediate ouster of Sossion from his position in KNUT.
KNUT has already deregistered Sossion with his deputy Hesbon Otieno taking over his roles in acting capacity. The change was duly communicated to the Labour Ministry.
At a press conference Friday, the union’s National Chairman Wycliffe Omucheyi said, “I want to tell our members that we are on the right path. We want to have a good relationship with our employer, and good leadership for the prosperity of our union.”
On Atwoli’s case, Khalwale has alleged that he has been using his position in Cotu to oppress workers in the country. But the two have been exchanging blows for quite sometime now. Atwoli ‘cursed’ Khalwale claiming that he can never make a comeback in politics. Their exchange has expanded the rift in the Luhyia nation.
Speaking on Friday at Olosongarai in Turbo, the outspoken Tangatanga member also claimed that Raila must go for he is a deadwood Kenyan who has failed to advance the interests of Kenyans.
