Former Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic sparked an online debate with his return message to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Ibrahimovic, who was speaking during an interview, stated that he would be open to a return to the club when his contract ends in November.
The Swede international has scored 46 goals in all the 49 games he has played for Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy. “I could play easily in the Premier League, so if United needs me, I’m here,” he said.
He scored 28 goals on his debut for United in the 2017-18 season before succumbing to a knee injury. His two-year contract was terminated early by mutual consent to allow him to move to the United States.
However, if he were to rejoin United, he would not be allowed to play for them until January, when the English transfer window reopens.
His return call to Old Trafford has triggered mixed reactions with some ready to welcome him while some bashing the idea, claiming he is old to play.

Rashford breaks silence..
Meanwhile, Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has finally broken his silence for the first time since suffering a serious racial abuse from online fans.
The English forward was a subject of racial chants after losing a crucial penalty in their first-ever defeat to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Like a lion woken up from asleep, the 21-year-old has posted his first tweet since that nightmare. The message is not to counterattack racial bullies but to sponsor the UNICEF UK Water Walk campaign through his platform.
Following what has happened on social media recently I was reluctant to log back in so soon but @unicef_uk Water Walk is a campaign that can be helped by my platform. If I can help that’s what I’m going to do… pic.twitter.com/O88fa1BZvI

‘Water Walk’ is a United Nation initiative with an objective of raising much-needed money for the millions of children all over the world who still have to walk too far every day just to get water.
The event will be taking place throughout the whole month. You just pick the week that works for you, and then walk 5 miles every day for 7 days – however and wherever you want.
Upon hearing him for the first time, fans have stormed social media to shower him with words of encouragement. Check out some of the fans reactions;
Stay strong Rash , we got you❤️
