It is not news that many Kenyans have been eyeing to replace Kibra Mp’s seat. One popular MC and DJ Kriss Darling is among candidates strategising to hold ODM’s ticket in the Kibra Constituency by-election. Kriss Darlin on Sunday knelt before Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga while seeking his support in his quest to become the next Kibra Member of Parliament and Kenyans cannot have enough of it.
From previous experiences we can all agree that elective posts in kenya are becoming very lucrative and a ticket to all the good things in life. You see politics is about strategy, that kneeling has now made Kriss Darling the talk of town, you must stand out. Was there a problem in him kneeling down?
Well, I don’t see the problem in kneeling down. Kriss Darling needed to prove himself at the moment! In a podium like that & being new in the game, you must find a way to be defferent. I wish him plus other candidates well! Kibra politics not a joke.

Here were some reactions.
Kriss Darling want to be nominated to go ‘defend Raila’ in Parliament but not represent Kibra people, participate in enacting laws, sponsoring bills and keeping GoK in check. He doesn’t even deserve the nomination slot, let alone contest the Kibra seat

Hii ni ujinga na kukosa akili. Not worth being elected MP, we don’t want such leaders in parliament who kneel before their seniors to beg for support, this kind of character went with Moi regime.

Let’s not criticize Kriss Darling, This is the art of Kenyan politics and He is just following the footsteps of the trend.
Sometimes kneeling before your senior leader shows respect or seeking sympathy. Let Kibra constituency residents decide themselves. @naiblogger pic.twitter.com/Lkm79Qajtr— Team William RUTO 🇰🇪 (@TeamWiliamRuto) August 26, 2019
Out of the 25 contestants kriss darlin is the only one trending, that’s a good sign, onto campaigns now, he stood out, kenyans love such judging by our voting patterns, strategy is key

When Kriss Darling kneels down before Raila so as to be a prioritised ODM nominee, everyone raised eyebrows, but when Hon Mwiti knelt before Ruto back then, it was no one’s business..
Ruto’s sycophants, we know you… pic.twitter.com/iFmFHVjUOM— Komrade 🇰🇪 (@KomradeHillary) August 26, 2019
Kriss Darling had no option but to apologise to Baba. Before going to Kibra, he was viewed as an outsider, but the reception he received forced him apologise for not standing with the people of Kibra during the most critical moment.
