DJ Kriss Darlin Trolled for Kneeling Before Raila

Popular Kenyan Reggae DJ, Kriss Darlin, on Sunday, knelt before ODM Party leader, Raila Odinga, while seeking his support in his quest to become the next Kibra MP.

The spectacle happened at Kamukunji grounds when the party unveiled several aspirants for the parliamentary seat, which fell vacant following the death of Ken Okoth.

His action elicited reactions from a section of the dreaded gang of Kenyans on Twitter.

One netizen, Calvin Oyuyo, accused Darlin of mediocrity, sarcastically urging the reggae DJ to go ahead and worship Raila.

Others warned Raila that the DJ would betray him the same way he was allegedly betrayed by the likes of Foreign Affairs CAS, Ababu Namwamba.

Darlin was also accused of being a Jubilee mole sent to spy on ODM. Most recalled the 2o17 General Election, which he played a key role in convincing Kenyans to vote in UhuRuto Presidency.

However, a few netizens gave Kriss a shoulder to lean on after the harsh criticism.

Celebrated Luo Musician, Suzanna Owiyo, rallied other Kenyans to defend Kriss Darlin’s actions. Through a tweet, Owiyo justified his action stating that he had to find a tactic to survive, being an amateur in politics.
